The Magic of the Maya

A Seven-Night Journey into Living Maya Wisdom

There are places in the world where ancient wisdom is not history — it is still alive.

Step into the living traditions of the Maya. Across seven nights on the shores of Lake Atitlán, you'll explore the fundamentals of ancestral Maya life — cosmology, the sacred calendar, ceremony, food, story and nature — guided by Tz'utujil spiritual guide Thomas and your host Sofia. A journey of deep rest, genuine cultural exchange, and remembering a wisdom the Maya have never stopped living.

The journey

What you'll experience

01

Living Maya Cosmology

Learn the sacred calendar, the 13 foundational and 20 daily energies, and discover your personal nahual in a private reading with Tz'utujil guide Thomas.

02

Ceremony & Sacred Fire

Take part in a traditional Maya sacred-fire ceremony and sound-healing journeys, held in the gardens and on the shore of the lake.

03

Culture, Craft & Cuisine

A guided day in San Juan with a backstrap-loom textile demonstration and mural tour, plus a hands-on Maya cooking class.

04

Rest, Movement & Nourishment

Daily movement and meditation, organic farm-to-table meals, and deep rest in a lakefront villa with volcano views.
