How do I get to Villas del Carmen?

There is no road access to Villas del Carmen. To arrive, take a private or public boat from Panajachel to our private dock. You can also arrive at the Jaibalito public dock and walk along the shore for about five minutes to reach us.

Do you cater to dietary restrictions & allergies?

Yes — we'd be happy to adjust our menu to accommodate all dietary needs. Please let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

Can retreat participants arrive a day early or stay later?

Yes — as long as we don't have other bookings, we can accommodate early arrivals and extra nights. Meals may not be included, depending on our chef's availability. Reach out to us for details on pricing and bookings.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

For nightly stays, guests receive a full refund if they cancel up to a day before check-in; after that, no refunds are given. For retreat hosts, the $1,000 deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to another open date, less a fee: up to 6 months in advance, $400; 3–6 months, $700; less than 3 months, $1,000.
